When you contact us, an initial appointment will be made in an indoor setting to discuss whether outdoor counselling may be helpful to you, your availability for regular sessions and what payment you are able to make. We will also discuss issues around confidentiality and how to manage time, pace and weather. During your sessions you may choose to walk and talk, to sit in a particular spot, or to do a bit of both. You can also decide to have a combination of indoor and outdoor sessions.
If you decide to go ahead, you will be offered sessions on an agreed day and time every week for up to 12 weeks. Sessions will usually be for 50 minutes but depending on your needs, longer sessions may be offered. If the times you request are full, you will be put on a waiting list.
